Divisions:
Division K = 4 year olds & kindergartners (5 years old). Athletes must be 4 years old no later than August 31.
Division A = Grades 1 & 2
Division 1 = Grades 3 & 4
Division 2 = Grades 5 & 6
Division 3 = Grades 7 & 8
Division 4 = Grades 9 – 12
Who can play?
The league is open to girls and boys grades PK – 12. All teams are co-ed (girls and boys playing on same team). Unfortunately we never have enough girls to register to have girls-only teams.
Goal & Ball sizes:
Division K = 27.5 ball and 8 feet goal
Division A = 28.5 ball and 8.5 feet goal
Divisions 1 & 2 = 28.5 ball and 10 feet goal
Divisions 3 & 4 = 29.5 ball and 10 feet goal
Fee:
Cost is $200 for early registration (September 28th – October 26th and $225 for regular registration. (October 27th – November 2nd). We offer a $25 sibling discount.
Registration could close prior to November 2nd once a division has maxed out to match the number of volunteer coaches, so register early.
Fee includes a reversible jersey, shorts, 8 practices, 7 regular-season games plus playoffs, pictures and awards for 1st and 2nd place per division.
MANDATORY Evaluation:
Tuesday, November 4th at Atascocita High School (13300 Will Clayton Parkway) from 6:30pm – 7:15pm (Last name A – M): 7:15pm – 8:00pm (Last names N – Z). THIS IS ALSO ELECTION NIGHT, VOTE EARLY AS YOU DESIRE.
OR
Saturday, November 8th at Atascocita High School from 9:00am – 10:00am (ALL Names).
May attend either date.
Player evaluation is MANDATORY for all registered players. If a registered player does NOT attend the mandatory evaluation, their spot will be taken by a player that either walks up to register or on the waiting list. The registration fee will be refunded but a $50 cancellation fee will be withheld.
Team rosters will be limited to a first come first serve basis and space is limited due to gym availability for practices and games. REGISTER EARLY
Practices & Games:
Practices & Games: All games and practices are held at Just Play Humble, formerly known as The Gym (2325 Atascocita Road, Humble, TX 77396 – across the street from Lindsey Lyons Park)
Practices: Practices will begin on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 2nd or Friday, December 6th. Each team will get two practices prior to the first game which is on Saturday, December 13. After the first game, each team will then have one – one hour practice during the week on either a Tuesday OR Friday, depending upon which team they are on. The ABA practice times are from 6pm – 10pm with each team practicing one hour. The younger teams will practice first then the older divisions come later.
There will NOT be any practices the weeks of December 21st – Dec 28th in recognition of the Christmas Holiday.
There will be games on December 13th, December 20th, and January 3rd during the Christmas/New Years Season.
Games: One (1) hour game (between hours of 8am – 3pm) played on Saturdays, beginning December 13th. The younger teams will have the early games first then the older divisions come later.
Volunteer Coaching:
